Palak Paneer

Ingredients

  • 28 oz. Fresh Spinach
  • 3 Cup of Water
  • 1 Tbsp. Chopped Ginger
  • 1 Tbsp. Chopped Garlic
  • 2 Tsp. Dry Fenugreek Leaves
  • ¼ Cup Olive Oil (Not EV)
  • ½ Cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 Tsp. Turmeric
  • 1 Tsp. Garam Masala
  • 1 Tsp. Paprika
  • 3 Tsp. Kosher Salt
  • ¼ Cup Corn Flour
  • 12 oz. Paneer (Indian Cheese)

Instructions

    SEAR THE PANEER (Indian Cheese)
  1. Cut the paneer into 1-inch cubes and pan-fried with olive oil until lightly brown, 1-2 minutes. This will add texture to the cheese, while maintaining its shape.
  2. Place spinach in a blender, add 3 cups of water and blend until finely pureed.
  3. Heat ½ cup of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ginger, garlic and fenugreek leaves and cook until lightly brown, 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add corn flour, heavy cream and paneer cooking for another 4 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
  5. Add spinach puree to pan and cook for another 4 minutes.
  6. Served with rice
